may be wondering why I decided to make my books available in PDF
format. To be honest, the decision was based on your frequent requests
for the first 4, impossible to get novels in the Delta Stevens Mystery
Series. All four novels have been re-typeset and saved in a PDF file,
ready to be downloaded to your computer. You can read them right off
your screen or print them on your printer. Our test audience actually
took the copy they printed on their home printer and had them bound at
their local copy center. Even more exciting, we're offering these
Electronic Books at a fraction of the trade paperback price.
So, What Is A PDF File?Excuse the acronyms, but PDF stands
for Portable Document File, which means that the books may have been
typeset on a Mac but anyone on a PC will be able to read them with all
fonts and formatting completely intact. That's why we chose PDF.
Do I have to read the book on my screen? Nope. Print it out like
any other document on your home PC and take it with you. Gee, they
really are portable.
How to Download and Read PDF Documents
To
download and read the books, you'll need Adobe's Free Adobe
Reader.
It is very easy to install and use the reader. They also have step by
step installation instructions at their site and within the
installation process. So, follow the instructions and download the
version suited to your system. Read the "System Requirements" prior to
beginning the download process. Adobe makes it easy to download their
reader, just follow the instructions carefully and you'll be in
business.
